Programming Languages
    PHP: I have used PHP for several years, and my current place of employment
         uses this language almost exclusively. Many of my projects with MySQL 
         web applications has been PHP based, and I have also contributed to 
         other projects like Drupal and Deanspace which are written in PHP.
         All of my work on the Ning platform was in PHP.
    Python: I have used Python almost exclusively for Semantic Web projects and 
            other recent projects. I find writing Python to be quick and easy, 
            and tend to produce my best code in this language. I have written
            Python code for a number of platforms, including cross platform
            GUI applications and mobile applications.
    Perl: Much of my work with Perl has been contributing to LiveJournal, 
          offering patches for enhancements to the site. I have also used
          Perl for a number of personal projects. I know this language very
          well. 
    Others: I have some experience in C, C++, and C#.

Developed, updated, maintained, and improved core set of applications on the 
Ning platform. Included all manner of changes, from usability improvements to
implementation of design and functional changes in the way applications work.

Volunteer Developer                                 Jan 2003 - Feb 2004
Developed a variety of bug fixes, complete with regression testing, for
bugs occurring on a large (3 million user plus) website. Added support for
several web standards, such as FOAF and better RSS support. Took suggestions
from users of the site and implemented them for adding to the site by staff.

Volunteer Support Staff                             May 2003 - June 2004
Collaborated with other members of volunteer support staff to identify 
user issues and assist in the solving of said issues. Transferred problems 
to developer bug database for solution by staff, as well as working 
with users to determine the cause of issues.

Volunteer Abuse Staff                               Jan 2004 - June 2004
Worked with a small group of people in order to assist in the resolution of
issues of abuse on LiveJournal.com. Enforced United States law as
well as the LiveJournal Terms of Service.
