Yeah it's a stupid tagline -- why the hell would anyone want to put a
GPS on the Internet?  Hey, some GPS over the other side of the world
is... over the other side of the world.  Fancy that?

For my mind, gpsd solves two major problems:
* Reinventing solutions to small and large incompatibilities between
different GPS devices
* Concurrent access to the GPS's data stream

Weird.  It's always worked fine for me under Linux on x86 and ARM.
