[Symbian-hacks] Paying for some custom development?

Hi folks.

As I've mentioned before, I have absolutely no experience with Python.
I have a little app I'd like to write, but the amount of time it will
take me to work out and debug would be enormously more than it would
take you guys, who know what you're doing.

What I want is to be able to geocode my moblog posts, in preparation for
my extensive travels starting in a few months. The app I need is really
quite simple, so I'll specify what I need here:
* Connect to the Bluetooth GPS
* Wait until a decent fix is achieved (5+ satellites?) -- ideally giving
some visual feedback as to how many satellites there currently are,
maybe with possibility to manually override and just use the fix it's
got if it's taking too long
* Open the web browser to an arbitary web page, passing in lat, lon,
username and password variables (e.g,
"http://www.rumble.net/cgi-bin/gps.pl?lat=12.3,lon=45.6&username=foo&password=bar").

That's it! Configuration by editing the python script would be fine.
Needs to run on my Nokia 6630.

I would prefer having a GPL license for the code, but you can keep
copyright and re-license it elsewhere on whatever terms you like. I'd
like to package the whole thing up (including my server-side scripts) to
enable others to use and improve it. I've already written some of the
server-side stuff and am working on the Google Maps part to display the
location.

So would anyone be willing to write such a script for me, for payment?

Payment can be by (in descending order of preference):
* Bank transfer to a European bank account
* Donation to your favourite charity with an online account
* Purchase of goods you want from an online retailer
* Paypal (though I've often had problems with them)
* rent-a-coder? (never used them, but it seems a nice idea)

If you're interested, please contact me and we can thrash out the
details and price. I can imagine this would be a pretty quick and easy
hack for you guys, since you've already got your head around the gps
stuff and python.
