Hey, guys.

I wanted to email you to let you know there have been quite a few
complaints about the two of you (and Kristan as well, when you involve
her) using #lj_support to discuss matters that are best left to PM.
While it's true that #lj_support allows conversation on all topics, I
know you're also both aware that there is a policy that one-on-one
conversations that are of no interest to the rest of the channel should
be taken to PM.

It's giving the impression that you guys are only chatting just to gain
attention (as you're often in the same building as each other when you
do it), and several people are getting fed up with it. Some would have
you banned outright for it, as it clutters the channel with chatter
that many do not care to read, but some of us admins thought it would
be most fair to alert you about this sentiment first.

Also, Chris, everyone is well aware of your contempt for the state of LJ
development, and because of this, it makes it harder to discern when you
are joking. In that light, it is disrespectful and bad form to make the
pointed barbs that you have been making, and it has been getting under
people's skin. If you cannot hold back on such topics (or save it for a
journal entry, where you're free to blast TPTB as much as you wish), it
might be best for you to leave #lj_support while such topics are being
discussed, as the comments you have been leaving during discussion are
not serving any constructive purpose.

Thanks for understanding this situation. I hope that we all can come to
some agreement about where to go from here.
